This was a fun post to write. Throughout our trip we’ve received some really good questions and we thought we’d take some time to answer a few. Enjoy!

Q: What has been your favorite place to visit?

Cathleen: I feel like this question is impossible to answer. If you asked what was my favorite beach, favorite city, favorite locals, or favorite [insert specific thing here], I could answer, but there is no way I could pick an overall favorite out of all of the amazing places we’ve been. Yes, I know this is a non-answer.

Christopher: Thailand.

Q: What do you miss the most? (Other than friends and family, obviously.)

Cathleen: Social outings, cooking, my spice cabinet, lazy Sundays, going to a store and being able to get everything all in one place (I miss you, Target), Amazon Prime

Christopher: Football Sundays, seasons, having a home

Because I didn’t have a photo of him drinking beer and eating wings on football Sundays.

Q: Are you adopting a child abroad? (Actual question we’ve received from several people…)

While we would love to adopt a child one day, that is not what we are currently doing. Plus, we should probably get jobs and you know, a home first.

Q: Why do you write a blog? What is the point?

Cathleen: Because I love it. It originally started as a way to share our journeys with our friends and family, and it has turned into something I have really enjoyed. The writing, the photography, the web design, I love it all and I’m finally starting to get the hang of it all. It’s so worth the time that goes into it.

Q: What is the one food from home you really miss?

Christopher: Mexican food. All of it.

Cathleen: Kraft Macaroni & Cheese with cut up hotdogs (no shame)

Q: How do you afford to leave your jobs and travel the world?

Savings. We’ve been living semi-frugally now for almost eight years and depositing every extra penny into our savings account each month. Our first savings goal was our wedding, which naturally transitioned into saving for a house. Needless to say, we’ll need to restart that house saving fund.

Q: When are you coming home?

That’s a really good question. July 14.

Love from the Athens airport,

Cathleen & Christopher
