Christopher’s first impression as we laid eyes on the Tower of Pisa: “Man, it is crooked as f***.”
It really was.
It was smaller than we both imagined, but it was certainly leaning. You can climb the tower, but only a small amount of people are allowed up at one time for safety reasons. We chose to admire from afar, and also judge admire all of the tourists taking the obligatory posed photos. It was people watching gold.

It took us about 45 minutes on a train from Florence. We walked around it for about an hour, bought a gelato and a magnet and we were back on the train. A quick half-day trip that was totally worth it, if only for this photo:

Love from Italy,
Cathleen & Christopher, the touron
I’m so glad that you got the “tourist” picture. Definitely made it worth it!!

Zero photoshop! I actually don’t know how to use it (if I do need something photoshopped, I send it to Hollis!)
